Standard Licence Agreement
For digital, educational, and non-broadcast use
By purchasing, downloading, or using any Content from scienceanimation.co.uk under a Standard Licence, you (the Licensee) agree to be bound by the terms of this Licence Agreement. Please read it carefully before completing your purchase.
1. Definitions
"Licensor" means Daley Graphics Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as Science & Animation via scienceanimation.co.uk.
"Licensee" means the individual or entity that purchases a Standard Licence.
"Content" means any video clip, animation, still image, or digital media file downloaded from scienceanimation.co.uk under this Licence.
"Standard Licence" means this non-exclusive, non-transferable licence granted to the Licensee on the terms set out below.
"End Product" means a single project, publication, video production, presentation, or digital asset in which the Content is incorporated.
2. Grant of Licence
Subject to payment of the applicable fee and compliance with these terms, the Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to use the Content for the purposes and within the limitations set out in this Agreement.
NON-EXCLUSIVE: This licence is expressly non-exclusive. The Licensor retains the right to license the same Content to other licensees on the same or different terms. The Licensee has no exclusive rights to the Content.
3. Permitted Uses
Under this Standard Licence, the Licensee may use the Content for the following purposes:
- Websites, landing pages, and online digital content
- Social media posts and organic social content (non-paid)
- Educational presentations, lectures, and e-learning courses
- Internal corporate presentations and training materials
- News editorial and journalism (online or print)
- Personal, student, and non-commercial projects
- Online video content up to a cumulative audience of 500,000 views across all platforms
- One (1) End Product only
4. Restrictions
The Licensee may NOT use the Content for any of the following:
- Broadcast television, cinema, or out-of-home (OOH) advertising — requires Extended Licence
- Paid advertising campaigns (including paid social media ads, pre-roll video, display advertising) — requires Extended Licence
- Pharmaceutical, clinical, or regulatory submissions or presentations — requires Extended Licence
- Use in more than one (1) End Product — requires Extended Licence
- Any use where the cumulative audience exceeds 500,000 views — requires Extended Licence
- Resale, redistribution, or sublicensing of the Content in any form
- Inclusion in any stock media library, template product, or resaleable asset
- Removing, obscuring, or altering any metadata or copyright information embedded in the Content
- Use in any unlawful manner or in connection with defamatory, obscene, or harmful material
5. Intellectual Property
The Content remains the sole intellectual property of the Licensor at all times. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership of copyright or other intellectual property rights to the Licensee. The Licensor asserts all moral rights in the Content to the fullest extent permitted by the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.
6. Attribution
Attribution is not required but is appreciated. Where the Licensee chooses to credit the Content, the preferred format is: "3D Animation: Science & Animation (scienceanimation.co.uk)".
7. Delivery and Download
Content is delivered as a digital download. The Licensor provides download access for a limited period following purchase. The Licensee is responsible for saving and backing up downloaded files. No physical media will be provided. The Licensor accepts no liability for loss of downloaded files after the download window has expired.
8. Warranties and Representations
The Licensor warrants that:
- It is the original creator and owner of the Content
- It has the right to grant this Licence
- The Content does not, to the best of the Licensor's knowledge, infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
The Licensor does not warrant that the Content is free from all possible third-party claims, and the Licensee uses the Content at their own risk in relation to any such claims.
Content Accuracy. The Content is a stylised scientific illustration for visual communication purposes and is not verified for scientific, medical, or regulatory accuracy. The Licensee is solely responsible for determining the suitability of the Content for any regulatory, clinical, or scientific submission, and the Licensor accepts no liability arising from such use.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Licensor's total liability to the Licensee under this Agreement shall not exceed the licence fee paid for the Content
- The Licensor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the Licensee's use of the Content
- The Licensor is not liable for any loss of revenue, loss of profit, or loss of data suffered by the Licensee
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
10. Indemnity
The Licensee shall indemnify and hold harmless the Licensor from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- The Licensee's breach of this Agreement
- Any use of the Content outside the scope of the permissions granted
- Any claim by a third party arising from the Licensee's End Product
11. Termination
This Licence terminates automatically and without notice if the Licensee breaches any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, the Licensee must immediately cease all use of the Content and destroy all copies in their possession or control. The Licensor reserves the right to seek injunctive relief and damages for any breach.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the Content and supersedes all prior discussions, representations, or agreements relating to the Content. Any amendment to this Agreement must be made in writing and agreed by both parties.
14. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Extended Licence Agreement
For broadcast, paid advertising, regulatory, and multi-project use

"End Product" means a single project, publication, video production, presentation, or digital asset in which the Content is incorporated.

- Pharmaceutical, clinical, and regulatory submissions or presentations
- Use across unlimited End Products
- Online and broadcast video content with no cumulative audience limit
4. Restrictions
The Licensee may NOT use the Content for any of the following:
- Resale, redistribution, or sublicensing of the Content in any form
- Inclusion in any stock media library, template product, or resaleable asset
- Removing, obscuring, or altering any metadata or copyright information embedded in the Content
- Use in any unlawful manner or in connection with defamatory, obscene, or harmful material
